Request for Proposals: Charity Program Coordination Delivered to the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend
All questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing via email with “PMW 2025 RFP Charity Coordination – Questions” in the subject line to marathon.contracts@phila.gov, with a cc: to cityfund@phila.gov by February 18th, 2025 and may not be considered if not received by then. The Marathon will provide written responses to the submitted questions no later than February 25th, 2025.
Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 PM E.S.T. on March 10th, 2025. Proposals must be submitted with all required components and documentation to marathon.contracts@phila.gov with a cc: to cityfund@phila.gov.
The Philadelphia City Fund and the City of Philadelphia seek proposals from a qualified contractor to provide Charity Program Coordination Services for the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend. The goal of the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend’s Charity program is to assist charitable organizations’ fundraising efforts by providing guaranteed race entries to one of the nation’s top 10 and most anticipated races.
The Charity Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Providing the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend team with an overarching strategy for managing, coordinating, and improving the charity program
- Strategically promoting the charity program amongst potential charities to ensure diverse representation across issue areas
- Reviewing submissions from interested charities to ensure the charities meet program and financial guidelines
