The Philadelphia Office of Sustainability (OOS) is a chartered municipal office with the mandate of coordinating the implementation of policies and programs to meet the City’s sustainability goals. OOS works with partners around the city to improve the quality of life in all Philadelphia neighborhoods through addressing environmental justice, reducing the city’s carbon emissions, and preparing the city for a hotter, wetter future. Our core program and policy areas include climate mitigation, municipal energy, climate resilience, and environmental justice.
The Office of Sustainability seeks professional services to develop a Strategic Plan that guides the office over the next five (5) years. A successful strategic planning process will facilitate discussions to establish a long-term direction that results in specific goals, objectives, and actions to communicate our relevance and ensure our effectiveness.
