Philadelphia International Unity Cup
Uniting the city’s neighborhoods and celebrating its diverse immigrant communities through soccer
“In Philly, our diversity is an asset. The Unity Cup celebrates our diversity and brings together immigrants from all over the city for a shared love of soccer, while facilitating key cultural exchanges and fostering a welcoming spirit.”
—Mayor Jim Kenney, City of Philadelphia
The Philadelphia International Unity Cup is a World Cup-style tournament held over several months which unites the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer.
The brainchild of Mayor Jim Kenney, the Unity Cup became an annual tradition after its massively successful inaugural year in 2016.
