Philadelphia 2026 Neighborhood Celebration Grants Fund
In partnership with the City of Philadelphia and with generous support from PECO and the Exelon Corporation, the Philadelphia City Fund invites eligible non-profit organizations to apply for funding to support Philadelphia’s 250th celebration activities during the 2026 calendar year. Under the leadership of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Philadelphia will showcase its history and put its people at the heart of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
Along with major signature events occurring throughout 2026 (including the FIFA World Cup games, Wawa Welcome America Festival 4th of July Concert, MLB All Star Game, and more), the Parker Administration, in line with the Mayor’s Plan for “One Philly, A United City”, has a vision for events and celebrations planned and produced by neighborhood organizations and community groups. The goal of these celebrations is to reflect the broad diversity of Philadelphia’s residents, their talents, and interests.
In furtherance of this goal, the Parker Administration is creating the Philadelphia 2026 Neighborhood Celebration Grants Fund to enhance 2026 celebrations across all neighborhoods and Council Districts. These celebrations will ensure residents benefit from the economic, cultural, and civic opportunities of this historic milestone. The neighborhood celebrations will also build community and create opportunities for neighborhood-based entertainment and festivities that spark joy, elevate local culture, and deepen civic pride.
