The Digital Literacy Alliance (“DLA”) is pleased to announce guidelines for its 2024 grant cycle, which will offer grants to organizations that leverage or create innovative community engagement practices to address digital inclusion by activating resident volunteers, peer leadership, and/or community ambassador models.

The DLA is a broad coalition of institutional stakeholders working to alleviate the digital divide in Philadelphia, and it is coordinated by the City of Philadelphia’s DigitalEquityPHL team. The DLA defines digital literacy as “the ability to access technology and the Internet and use those tools to find, evaluate, share and create content.”

Applicants were required to review the Grant Guidelines and submit a Letter of Intent form by Friday, June 28, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. EST.  Additional information about the eligibility requirements, application process, and timeline can be found in the Grant Guidelines.
